U-M beats WMU 34-10 in rain-shortened game

Michigan linebacker Brandon Herron races for the end zone to score his second defensive touchdown of the game, after recovering a fumble by Western Michigan quarterback Alex Carder in the third quarter. Herron also returned a interception 94 yards for a touchdown in the first half. After two-rain delays, the game was called with Michigan leading 34-10 for a victory for Brady Hoke's debut as head coach of the Wolverines at Michigan Stadiium in Ann Arbor on Saturday, September 3, 2011.
