Cindy and Douglas La Ferle's 1926 English Tudor in Royal Oak

Cindy and Douglas La Ferle pose in a passage way adorned by wooden columns off the formal living room. Douglas -- an architect, artist and musician -- and Cindy -- a writer and artist -- renovated the home to include a studio above a three-car garage, an updated kitchen and a large sunroom with skylights. The retained the home's original historic details, including leaded glass windows, a fireplace and Arts and Crafts-era ambiance.
