Japanese-style private school preserves culture

Koby International Academy's president, Yoshihisa Kobayashi, who founded the school 15 years ago, says the school's primary mission is to provide high-quality education in both English and Japanese to those arriving in the United States who speak only Japanese, and to help those Japanese students who have attended traditional American schools for years and wish to improve their language proficiency before returning to Japan.
