Marcia Peters of Detroit drags an abandoned chair towards the dump truck. Peters was a volunteer at Detroit's Motor City Makeover, which spruces up three neighborhoods for three Saturdays. Volunteers are on the city's eastside now and will move their effort to the west and southwest sides later this month.
