Legendary auto designer Herb Adams, father of Pontiac's Firebird Trans Am, drives his Passion Motors' Contessa in Sterling Heights on Friday, Aug. 7, 2009. Adams will drive the Contessa, powered by a ground-pounding 502-cubic-inch GM V-8, Saturday in the annual Woodward Dream Cruise.
